Circularity through the Supply Chain
Businesses sit at the heart of the transition from a linear to a circular economy. In this session, Coca-Cola HBC Ireland and Northern Ireland showed how they are making their purchasing choices more circular and collaborating in circular partnerships.

Win Clients and Increase Sales
Keynote speaker Paul McNeive provided insights into the importance of customer service and how to increase sales and win new contracts. Delegates also learnt crucial lessons Paul himself had learnt while facing his adversities.

Business Process Innovation
Business processes are integral to the growth and success of any company. In this session, Steve Halpin of LeanTeams showed business owners how innovating processes can add value, improve quality of goods and services and boost customer satisfaction. Delegates heard examples from business owners’ Rohit Thakral Target Integration and Joyce Rigby-Jones Chartered CCIPD, M Inst D Voltedge Management on the benefits of new systems and processes.

New Markets and New Opportunities
In a post-Covid and Brexit world, small firms are looking to identify new channels and win in new markets. In the last session of the day, Richard Maynes, Aer Rianta International Duty Free LLC spoke about the opportunities for selling abroad, and Enda McDonnell Enterprise Ireland advised on the supports available to pursue business abroad. Ventac Group MD Darren Fortune and VITHIT MD Troy Lavin shared their stories and success abroad.

Delegates also heard from Minister of State for Public Procurement, Ossian Smyth, TD, SFA Chair and Co-founder, Idiro Analytics Geraldine Magnier and Imelda Hurley, Ibec President and CEO of Coillte.
