As an employer what do I need to do for my staff who are returning to work and were claiming the Pandemic Unemployment Payment (PUP)?
Once your employees return to your payroll – either on a full time or part time basis, they are no longer eligible for the PUP payment. The employee themselves are required to notify Mywelfare.ie and close their claim. It is advised that employers remind their staff to do so.
